As enterprises try and re-imagine what their world looks like when all of their employees are able to work from anywhere (and, indeed, demand to be able to work anywhere) there are soon struck by a realization that in many cases their most critical business processes are trapped in legacy desktop systems. Often these systems are about as far away from agile mobile apps as you can possibly get. So what is an enterprise CIO to do in this instance?
