With a strong background in providing strategic media direction for enterprise technology companies both large and small, Lauren brings exceptional experience and a stellar track record of media wins as the Head of Media Strategy at Karbo Communications. She has provided media counsel to clients in cybersecurity, AI, fintech, biotech, digital marketing, social media, Big Data, cloud, consumer, MarTech, developer relations, enterprise software, and networking. 

Lauren has established strong relationships with key reporters, leading to secured coverage in top-tier publications, including Forbes, Fortune, TechCrunch, The New York Times, and Wall Street Journal. Prior to joining Karbo Communications, Lauren held an account associate position at Highwire PR in San Francisco, where she specialized in enterprise technology, consumer technology, and cybersecurity communications. At Highwire PR, she managed and executed social media planning, created compelling speaking and award programs tailored for success and developed key data-driven narratives that aligned with core business objectives for a wide array of technology clients. When Lauren isn’t reading the news, pitching clients, or working on the next media narrative, she is traveling to new countries, spending time on the beaches in southern California, and hanging out with her French bulldog Gizmo.

She has experience in media relations, brand strategy, thought leadership strategy and development, writing and social media. She holds a B.A. degree in English from the University of San Francisco.
